New Nail Polish!

Hi guys! I hope your summer is as awesome as mine has been! So I thought I'd tell you guys about the new nail polish line from Sinful Colors called Sinful Shine! They have awesome nail polish that only requires one coat and no top coat! With Gel Tech technology, it leaves a gorgeous rich color full of shine! So far these nail polishes are only available at Walgreens, but maybe that'll change!

So the first color I got was in the shade Most Sinful.  It's a bright royal blue color that would have been perfect for my wedding, if it would have come out in time. :)

The next color I got is in the shade Limelight.  The name makes it sound a lot more lime green than it really is. It's more of a candy apple green. I bought it because I've never had a green nail polish before. Can you believe that? I can buy hundreds of different shades of pink, but I've never bought one single green? Anyways, I love this color and I'm so glad I bought it!

The last polish I bought is in the shade Royal Flush.  It's a dark pink shade with a hint of purple in it. Out of all 3 of the colors I bought this is definitely the one I've worn the most so far.  It's a color that looks great on fingers and toes and I love to wear it matching! :)

That's it for today! Let me know which color is your favorite or if you're at Walgreens and decide to try one! It's definitely worth the money!

Thirty-One Products

Ok, so I know this isn't beauty related but I wanted to let you see the recent products I got from hosting my first Thirty-One party, and I thought you might enjoy seeing them too :)

The customer special for June is buy $35 worth of products and get a Large Utility Tote for just $10! So of course I had to get one! I got one in the pattern Pink Pop Medallion.  Which by the way, is my favorite pattern they've ever had! I hope they keep it awhile!

And for only $10 each I was able to get a black Top-a-Tote and a Pocket-a-Tote in the pattern Pink Cross Pop.  Now the Top-a-Tote works as a cover for your tote and it's so easy to take on and off.
The Pocket-a-Tote snaps on the inside or the outside of your tote and works as a pocket to keep car keys, cellphones or whatever you need inside the zippered compartment.

I also got a Single Thermal Organizer in the pattern Black Cross Pop, which fits nicely inside the tote and will be perfect to use for a trip to the beach just to keep drinks and a few snacks in for my Husband and me.

Next, I got an Inside-Out Bag in the pattern Black Floral Brushstrokes and Pink Cross Pop. I LOVE this bag and I've allready been using it everyday. It's the perfect crossbody bag and I love that it is reversible! Everything inside is so easy to access, which is nice for me because I usually spend about 10 minutes in the parking lot looking for my car keys! And here's the best part, since I was a hostess, I was able to get this item for 1/2 off!
The last 2 items I got were both Hostess Exclusives! One is their Room to Grow Utility Bin in the pattern Black Floral Brushstrokes and the next was their Beauty Bundle which is their Cosmetic Bag Set that also came with their Flat Iron Case and Nail File.  I got all of these in the pattern Island Damask. I haven't decided what I'm going to use the Utility Bin for yet. Right now it's just sitting in my living room, empty. But I know I'll find a use for it! If you have any suggestions, let me know :)
Now I bought the Cosmetic Bag Set to put my nail polish in, and contrary to popular belief, they all fit in! This was a great deal to get both cosmetic bags, the flat iron case and a nail file for only $20!
So if anyone is interested in looking at a catalog or hosting a party, let me know. I can hook you up with a great consultant!

Avon Makeup

Lucky for me I have a sister-in-law who is an Avon Representative! When they came out with the new spring makeup I knew I had to get some. (Spring gets me everytime!) I just love all the colors they use in the spring! The first thing I got was a bright pink lipgloss. It's the ultra color rich lipgloss in the shade Brilliant Ruby. It was the first one I've tried in that line of lipglosses and I must say I'm impressed with how long it stays on, not to mention I love the bright, shimmery color. It's perfect for spring!

Next I got a couple of the glimmersticks diamonds eyeliner. I had bought a gold and a silver color before and really love how easily the color glides on and how true to the shade it is. So this time I got Black Ice to replace the eyeliner I'm using now and I got Sugar Plum to branch out into the colored world of eyeliner.

You can see how easily it shows up on the skin. I really love these. I was hoping the plum would show up more purpley  but that's ok. I still like it. :) I definitely want to get more just to play with different colors this spring/summer.

I know nailpolish is the last thing I need, so I told myself I could only get one, even though there were so many pretty spring colors I'm dying to try! The one I decided I'd get is the Nailwear Pro+ in the shade Serene because of how popular the mint color has been this spring and suprisingly enough I didn't have any nailpolish in that color. I've always loved Avon's nailpolish because it stays on and could easily be worn in just one coat. (I always use a second to be safe. :)) I just love this color and I think it might be limited edition for spring so I'm glad I got it when I did.
(I know it looks pretty blue in this picture, but it's mint, trust me!)

Ok the last thing I got was True Color Eyeshadow Quad in the shade Awakening. This is the first time I've ever got eyeshadow from them, for myself anyway. I've bought them before for Christmas gifts. And this was the one they were advertising for spring and I fell in love with it.

I must say I was nervous when I first got it, because the blue in it the pallete is so bright! But I decided to give it a try just on the corner of my eyelids and I have to say, I absolutely love it! It's just a fun color to play with in the spring.  Maybe someday I'll do a demonstration of how I wear these colors, but not tonight :)  Have a good night everyone and enjoy this weather.  I think winter's finally done!!

Rue 21/Sear's Haul

Last week during Sprink Break I went shopping with my parents and I thought I'd show you guys what I got.

At Sear's I got a purple blazer. I've been looking at the blazers there all winter but never bought one. This trip I purposed to get one if they still had some on clearance and they did! I love the way this one fits. It's a little longer than most of them and more slimming.
I think they're great to dress up with a skirt or dress down with jeans. My next stop was Rue 21 and I normally don't shop there but I think their spring collection this year is just so colorful and bright! Plus I had a coupon for $20 off of a $50 purchase, so that was nice! :) Ok, the first thing I got there is a sheer, button up, collared tank in a pretty blue with coral and yellow flowers on it. I love this top for summer! It's so light and pretty!

And then I just bought a couple of their tanks: a plain yellow one to go under this shirt and a green one with flowrs on it. Because it was 2 for $9. I also bought an awesome coral necklace and bracelets that I can't find pictures of on their website anymore, but I bought them mainly to go with the last piece of clothing I'm going to show you but they actually go well with everything I bought there which is great. I love when I can find lots of uses for my jewelry! Ok so here it is the one I'm most excited to show you guys!
I LOVE this dress! It's a pretty lacey pattern on the top and a chiffon mint color on the bottom! And I just love the coral necklace with it! I think it really stands out!

Well I hope you guys are enjoying this beautiful spring weather we're having! Get outside if you haven't all ready! It's much needed after 6 months of winter!

Much love,
Jenna

Fun with Nailpolish!

Today I made a trip to Walgreen's and left with more nailpolish. It's a real weakness. There's so many shades and I want to try them all! :) The first one I got was one I've been looking for for awhile and its by Sinful Colors in the shade Cinderella. It's a pretty robin egg, blue color with some shimmer. For those of you who aren't familiar with Sinful Colors, you can get them practically everywhere now, even Walmart! But they are an amazing nail polish! They last just as long and go on just as smoothly as the ever popular/expensive O.P.I. And get this, they are $1.99 everywhere! Can't beat that price!

The next two I bought are both Sally Hansen. I found the most perfect coral ever!!! It's in the shade Coral Reef.  I seriously don't think I've ever seen a truer coral color than this one. I just love it! It's a creme color with no shimmer or glitter to it.

The last color I bought is in the shade Bubblegum Pink. And I bought this to wear to my friend's wedding in a couple of weeks. I was looking for a creme light but not too light pink and I think I found the perfect one!

So that's it for today! I can't even decide which color to try first. Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts! :)
Much love,
Jenna

Easter Makeup

First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter!  I love spring time because I love playing with colors in my makeup and the other day I tried an eyeshadow I've never used before and thought it'd be perfect for Easter.

I used the lilac purple shade in the first palatte on the eyelid. Then using the second palette I used the dark bluish/purple in the crease and the darkest purple in the corner. I finished off with the light pink as the highlight on the brow bone.

And to finish off I used lipstick by Covergirl in the shade Darling Cherie.  It's a real pretty peachy/pink shade!

So don't be afraid to experiment with some color this spring!

"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. - Isaiah 53:5"
I hope everyone has a Happy Easter and remember the reason we celebrate!

Maybelline!

I've been a huge Maybelline fan for quite some time now. There's probably very few products I've tried from them that I don't like. Tonight I bought the Rocket Volume Express mascara in the shade Blackest Black (as if I'd get anything else!) I allready LOVE it! I've been using the Falsies mascara for awhile but I always love trying new products. I think it give more volume than the Falsies so this might just be my new mascara love.
The second Maybelline product I bought was a new Baby Lips in the shade Twinkle. The first Baby Lips I bought was in the shade Cherry Pie and I loved it so much I knew I had to get more. This one I bought tonight is a peachy/nude color and I was hoping it would show up better than it does. It's very very sheer but it still makes my lips feel so smooth! I can't wait to try out more shades but I'm pacing myself for now. I'd definitely recommend Baby Lips to anyone who hasn't tried them before. They have so many different shades now. It's just a great moisturizer that gives your lips some color too! Plus it's a chapstick I know my Husband won't steal from me! Win!

My First Essie!

So the other day I purchased my first Essie nail polish! (I didn't even know it was sold where I live.) I went into Walgreens and squealed when I saw the color! It's just so perfect for spring! It's in the shade "Bikini so Teeny" and it's just a real pretty blue pastel color. I know some nail polishes, when they're put on turn out a different color then what it looks like in the bottle but this color really stays true to itself when applied. Essie has a whole bunch of gorgeous spring colors and I can't wait to go back and get more!
